Astor Wines
And what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with bacon and bourbon? Astor Wines brought in numerous purveyors of bourbon and rye and they were pouring freely. We sampled until we lost count and stumbled down the stairs. We did discern that the bourbons were mellow and sweet and the ryes were pretty harsh. To counteract the negative effects, we ate bacon and peanut butter and banana sandwiches with bacon cookies for dessert. Our hearts may burst at any moment.
