Part of the Ace Hotel complex, The John Dory is the seafood side of the building. We had feared high decibles and roving hipsters, but were pleasantly surprised by the ease of eating—not too loud and very friendly and comfortable. I wanted to document all the turkey I’ve eaten this week, but this was the only meal I remembered to photograph.
But I am now made mostly of turkey. I’ve sprouted some tail feathers. One of those red wobbly things is growing under my chin. I’ve acquired a startled look. I am mysteriously attracted to grain and cranberry sauce. I must avoid hunters.
